Rather than get an explanation it looked as though Shu just utterly didn't know what happened. That led to one of two possibilities; it had been so sudden that he couldn't have possibly registered it, or it had been such a bad blow that he couldn't even remember what it had been. Both were unsettling, making Yumi fidget uneasily in her spot. "You were attacked by the general's men..." she whispered softly, using her free hand to gently brush a bit of dirt off of the boy's shirt. "The Queen and everyone else saved you, that's why they're here. Vegeta is helping Viral right now, and T'charrl is healing Takeshi." Taking a pause she glanced up to ask Garesh a question about what had happened, surprised to see he had left the room, as well as Eslaria. Sighing to herself the Beastman went back to attending to her friend, smiling meekly as he took the last bite of the fruit. Listening to the rest of what the little Saiyan had to say a rather troubling revelation came to light. Seeing Eslaria's friend... Wasn't that what they had set out to do a few hours ago? Nervously Yumi set the core of the fruit aside, sitting on the edge of the couch and gently rubbing at Shu's hand. "Shu? Listen to me, okay? Tell me the last thing you remember doing. Did you go to see the Queen's friend? And what did you do after that?" Hopefully he knew that much, otherwise he'd lost a few hours of memory, and goodness knows what else. Deciding it was really their only option Vegeta finally relented, opting to cauterize Viral's wound. It was probably the least enjoyable thing he'd done in a while, but with the alternative being his friend potentially dying he had little choice. Viral told him not to apologize, but that was easy to say now, just wait until the act was done. Using his Ki as a heat source Vegeta carefully gathered enough up to do the deed, searing the bloodied flesh and closing off the wound. During the process Viral tried to hide his discomfort, but it still showed through as clear as day. Unnerved by just how agonizing it looked to be Vegeta quickly drew his hand away, giving the Beastman an uneasy look. Asking the rather stupid question then of if it hurt got a perfectly justified and anguished answer. "Right... Dumb question. And yeah, there's still the other part of the wound to deal with." Hardly a thrilling prospect but a necessary one. Carefully grabbing Viral's side he turned his friend over, a fair degree uncertain about making him lie on his only recently closed wound. The longer they dragged this on though the worse it would be, and thus the Saiyan tore away the shreds of Viral's shirt to expose the rear end of the wound. "Here it comes." Again Vegeta let his hand hover just centimeters over the wound, summing up his Ki to create heat. As before there would be a rather nasty burning sensation, mercifully only lasting for a few seconds as the exit wound wasn't quite as large. When the skin was closed Vegeta took a step back, looking properly bothered by what he was doing. "No more wounds? That was the big one?" he asked, rather hopeful playing doctor was over with. "I fell for a trap like an idiot..." Takeshi grumbled, still dejected. "A year of military training and I still fell for a basic trick. I'm such an idiot..." It was easy to lay here and rag on himself all day, but it wasn't doing anyone any favors. All he was accomplishing now was complaining and delaying things from moving on, as much as he might be angry with himself. Nodding when told not to move the Saiyan closed his eyes, bracing for the pain that was sure to come. In a deft movement T'charrl yanked it clean out, inciting another sound of pain from the Saiyan that was hardly relieved by the healing gel that was placed on it. With a sharp inhale through his nose Takeshi lifted his head again, straining a smile as he did so. "You're the native... I get it. And if you're confident we're okay then... I guess I got no choice but to lay here..." It was hardly what he wanted, but there was little room for alternatives. He wondered what the plan actually was now that they were all here. Was the general going to be taken into custody, or was he going to meet the fate of his men? With how things were at the moment Takeshi really wouldn't mind the latter, even if it might be a bit brash. Because of that man Shu was now in who knows what kind of state and Viral possibly clinging onto life by a thread. If either should succumb to their injures then it really didn't matter to him what the others wanted, the general was going to die. "Get that last knife outta me... Then we'll talk plans."
