Unfortunately with all the ReDeads in Ikana being banished, that is not a possibility at this point in the story.

Otter: You don't have to have all your skill slots taken, and I can understand why you'd want to stray away from that due to having a less experienced character. My character is more or less in the same boat and his expert skill is Athletics, which is pretty much the only skill that he could feasibly be an expert in at this point (seeing as how it comes down to being physically fit more than anything else).
