Your sheet seems fine to me, except for the shadow clone thing.
Shadow Clones (Kage Bunshin no Jutsu) are a B-rank Konoha forbidden technique, that creates clones of physical mass, where the user's chakra is evenly divided between each clone and the actual user. These clones can, since they have a physical mass and actual chakra beyond what chakra the technique uses, actually fight. They can perform techniques, punch people in the face and even their cloned weapons are capable of cutting/slicing ect.
Regular Clones (Bunshin no Jutsu) are a E-rank general skill taught to all Academy students; it is actually a requirement that the students know this technique for them to pass and become genin. This technique makes clones without a physical mass; they are only an illusion. They do not cast shadows and cannot disturb the physical enviorment around them (ie, make footprints, kick up dirt, rustle leaves). Since they have no physical mass, they are not able to do damage, either. They cannot perform techniques (although they can [i]appear to be[/i]). They are an illusion and as such, everything they do are illusions.

I hope that explains the difference and clears up the confusion ^_^

You seem to be having a hard time deciding what character to make...

Personally, I think the Medic would be a good idea. Medics need to be intelligent and are extremely adept at chakra control, as that is the potency they need to perform the Mystical Palm. They are trained to stay out of the line of fire as their main goal is to keep alive so they can keep their team alive.

Normally, I would [i]never[/i] suggest this, but you could make a Hyuuga Medic. Since the leader of the village is a Hyuuga that actually came from Konoha and knows the Hyuuga techniques and all, he probably [i]wouldn't[/i] want another Hyuuga around, though. He's only the leader because of his KG and his potency at using it, after all.
It would give your character the possiblity of fighting back, though.

I don't see how Gaara isn't withering away, though. He's so frigging red-haired that my skin seems pale in comparison (you know, since my skin is really effing red right now). I just have a [i]tint[/i] of red in my hair and I pratically burst into flames as soon as the sun comes out (insert vampire joke here).
In all seriousness, though, I really cannot handle the sun. I am the only person I know who is capable of getting sun-burned through the glass of a window (which is poop, because I have a window right above my bed).

-Haku's Clan (The Yuki Clan) is alive, yes, and it would be possible to play one.
-Playing a Yamanaka would be pretty useless, since their Mindfuck techniques are hijutsu, not a KG. They need to be taught the mindfuck by the clan to be able to do it.
