Ceil just stood there, dumbfounded at the situation. You really couldn't tell whether he was surprised over the story, or surprised over the fact the girl actually told him something that was most likely believable. "..... I honestly can't tell if you're lying or tellin' the truth Missy, er Selena," Ceil said, not knowing what to make of the girls story. "It's a strange story, but its pretty saddening, and yet... I kind of believe it." Ceil rubbed the back of his neck, thinking about the story she told. "(I honestly didn't expect her to up it, and tell me who she was and possibly her story... The name I can believe, but the story sounds... Sort of fabricated. Nobody tells a total stranger their story, but...)" Ceil studies the girl, and how she acted after she told the story. "(I don't think Miss Selena here is lying.)" "But Selena, let me tell you one thing," the boy said, staring directly at her. "You trusted a stranger with your story, which isn't either a smart idea, considering what this city is like during this time." Ceil shoved the ripped piece of meat back into his bag, before continuing. "However, since you were most likely being honest with me, I'll be honest with you - My name is Ceil Etym, and I've been living on the streets for five years" "I was born to a family of engineers who went out of business five years ago since they failed to make ends meet. They realized that they needed to leave this place to find another job... I know they could of worked in the factories, but they were pretty prideful of their abilities, and feeled they shouldn't stoop so low. Anyways, they couldn't afford to take me along with them, which I found completely understandable. I was heart-broken, yes, but eventually I learned to cope with it." The boy took in the air around him before continuing on. "And that's my story. Its strange how I decided to trust a person I barely know with my story, but when you were being honest with me, I decided to be honest with you." "(The name she spoke of... Dosett... It sounds pretty familiar, where have I heard that name,)" Ceil thought to himself, turning his gaze away from Selena. "(Hmm... Eh, it's probably nothing.)" Ceil quickly looked at her again, before speaking. "Anyways, we need to find a place for you to dump your stuff.... I mean like a base, because hauling around that chest isn't going to help you at the moment. Also, standing around with a pretty face like that, someone could try and put you back into slavery... So maybe we should go find an abandoned building of sorts." It would of been easier to invite her to live with him in his secret home, but it honestly would barely fit them both. Throw in a chest, and now you have to find a roof for your head because that's just giving away where Ceil lived. Ceil also had a feeling she wouldn't exactly dump her stuff, so he came up with the conclusion to find an abandoned building to live in... And maybe he could live with her, since he was sick of living under a bunch of apartments. Either way, he decided he was going to help her, even if she refused his help.
