Asmol, Capital City This war has been a testament to the power of information, or the lack of. As a ship had some how passed through not only the outer ring sensors but the mid and core.. even into the capitol system itself. With the fleet in orbit still defending and observing the horizon with all sensors equipment operating at peak efficiency... it was just unreal to see something slip through like this. The officers in charge of intelligence on board the ships will likely be executed due to allowing a ship to enter freely. On the ground, things were far different. Small groups of soldiers paroling the outer city were looking for bodies or hidden enemies were numerous. One such was near a city, near a water front. The capital itself isn't situated right beside a body of water so it was an unlucky town that is now the host to a destroyed frigate. The soldier in question was checking a small waterway when this... warship.. rose from the oceans. He could only stare for a few moments before sending a message that something was going down. Something big. The events that followed were quick, with the boat landing and a woman holding a man at gunpoint. The message that he sent would be the start of a hopeful end to this war they were all starting to get tired of. As the woman ordered the soldier to take him to see Numis, a large force of Igrod soldiers arrived, enough to cause any group on the ground concern. The soldiers were mixed, with the more potent Void users just pointing their hands and other, less adept ones, aiming high powered rifles. The soldier shoved the woman off and took a few steps back. In the distance, gunships could be heard drawing closer as well. "You know we just retook this world." he smirked a bit, "Our forces are on full alert." He was cut off by another who motioned the others to lower their weapons. "Aside soldier, continue your search." The original hostage just huffed a little then walked off, angrily. "This wasn't quite the best time for an.." He looked over her shoulder, seeing the heavily armed warship in the distance. "Aggressive entrance." He turned around when the gunships became visible. They buzzed over then headed towards the ship, an obvious and expected procedure considering a warship just burst from the ocean. "I assume you're wanting to speak to Numis, the rightful leader of this torn nation." He didn't wait for an answer when he used a communication device to contact command. It was around a half hour before Numis and an entourage arrived. When Numis landed, he walked up to the group of aliens. He is an imposing man and his shadow at this time of day, was cast over them. "I am Khan Numis. My soldiers mentioned 'Federation Interstellar'. I've heard their name but haven't met any."
