"Elycia wait!" Damien started but she was already walking toward the other 'angels.' He stopped, seeing her bravery and determination and swallowed a knot in his throat. Certainly she would be alright. she was doing the right thing. He walked out behind her and witnessed the exchange. It was cruel and very un-angel like. Gasping in shock, Damien rushed over to Elysia. "Elysia! Are you alright? God no! Your wing is broken... your arm is..." He put a hand to his mouth. Certainly with so much damage she would be unconscious, if not dying. The black-clad human spun around toward the commander as he and his angels were walking away. "Hey!" Damien shouted. "You can't just leave her like this! She came back to you! You idiots!" Seeing himself ignored, Damien's anger made him do something rather rash. "I'm not letting you leave until you help her." He ran up behind them and drew his weapon.
elycia stirs and a grimace comes over her features as the small sickening crunches of her ribs being forced back in place through healing magic none too comfortably ring in the air while damien gapes at her before she seems to pass out from pain and injury, unable to heal herself further as of current. when damien rushes at them he can sense as well as feel the pain of the ring of light that surrounded his neck, holding him in place and seeming to keep him from using magic other than his passive senses ((think of it like a silence except he can talk)) while the commander's men stood around him, halberds pointed at his neck, giving way as to the cause of the ring of light. the commander turns to face him, his face serious at the threat damien had thrown at him as he draws his blade and says "i shall do nothing for you worm. i am a servant of her holiness herself and am of her blood. dirt such as you should be grateful i am deigning to acknowledge your existence even after you have given me orders as if you had any right to do more than grovel at my feet and beg for mercy. now, would you like to retract your statement worm?" in a self righteous tone implying that he felt he was right and everything that went against him was wrong and if you disagreed with that... well damien's getting a taste of it right now. the man puts his sword against damien's chin, the point digging in and causing blood to run down his neck in a small line until it sizzles on the ring of light binding him in place, the men around him eyeing him with ceiled pity, knowing the commander to not be a merciful man as was demonstrated on elycia
