Damien gasped as his left hand was taken and the winged knight pulled out a dagger. Marked? What did that mean? He winced as the blade cut a symbol into his skin. It hurt, but he bit his tongue and tried not to resist. He dropped to one knee as the cutting almost made him feel faint. Cradling his bloody hand, he bowed his head. "I understand." He answered. "You have my word."
