Emiliano The vampire slowed his drinking when he noticed Lelabd was becoming a bit woozy. He took one last swallow, the parted his lips from Leland's wrist, licking the wound to close and clean it. "You are very much up to my standards, yes," Emiliano said with a light chuckle. "If you're feeling faint, you should go join your fellow slave in the kitchen. There's plenty of food for the two of you and a wide variety available." He put on a sly smile. "Of course, if you want to lie down, I'll allow you to rest in here a while." --- Callum "Oh." He hadn't expected that from her. What else could he say? She couldn't be blamed for liking the only ones who had ever cared for her--even if they were blood suckers. He supposed that any small child reared by even the fiercest of monsters couldn't help growing to like them. He was about to apologize when the vampire began to stir in his sleep. Callum put his hands down on the bed to steady himself. [i] His beloved? What did that mean? [i] Callum hoped Eika's coaxing would help because being tangled in the vampire's kicking legs was less than ideal. He tried to wiggle away, but to no avail. "But he doesn't see us as sentient beings with thoughts and feelings of our own. He didn't even have the decency to tell us what he wanted with us. He may not be a horrible...'person', but he doesn't default to good because of that. What happens when he grows tired of us? We'll be thrown away like any other posession he has."
