Once Gin was asleep, Effy gently removed herself from his arms. She rubbed her face, letting out a shaky sigh. Gin wasn't going to risk his life to protect her's. She wasn't worth it. Love is pain and sacrifice, and knowing when you have to say--" her sentence was cut short by the felines impatient hiss. "I wasn't going to say goodbye! I was going to say 'see you soon.' What Gin and I have is larger than we are, that's why I'm not going to let him do this." The cat seemed to roll its eyes before turning to strut away. As Effy turned to leave, she smacked into someone. "Jesus fuck..." was all she could manage to say as she glanced up at their host with a sheepish grin. "You're back early.
