A Chase, Eh? thought Ascot as he smiled. I'll oblige, he continued as he sped towards Turbo on his Keyblade Glider, his Haste spells, as well as his natural speed, ensuring that he was close, very close, to his opponent. Once King Candy got to Ralph, he would find Ascot hot on his heels, dispelling the Keyblade Glider and instead coming after the Bug-Man with an Aerial Slam. Once that Aerial Slam was finished, he would cast Haste on Ralph, increasing the man's speed. The boy would then jump up, and use Fire Glide to harass Turbo's back, rushing towards it for a back stab. Due to not knowing about the effects of Mentos on Soda, Ascot wouldn't know what Ralph was trying to do, so he had to trust the latter to know what exactly he was doing. This meant that he had to occupy Turbo's attention. If his backstab succeeded, Ascot would draw back his sword, allowing his opponent to regenerate, before going on a flurry of short, sharp attacks, meant to further distract Turbo from Ralph. However, continuing to observe the Bug-Man, the boy felt a sense of...futility. Was he really succeeding? It felt as though Fate was steering things to a pre-arranged script. Said script dictated...dictated something, but he didn't know what. All Ascot just knew, though, was that his efforts meant nothing, not when going up against this script.
