his voice seems to cause her to stir, her eyes glazed from pain as she'd managed to drag herself to lean against a wall and set the bones in her leg and wing but not her arm which still lay broken and dislocated at her side. after a few seconds she seems to realize he was talking to her before taking another couple seconds to remember what he'd said, the shock causing her brain to move sluggishly as dark patches would be seen where her bones had been broken, hinting at internal bleeding across the left half of her body. "it's alright... i got away easy" she says with a faint smile and a small chuckle that makes her cringe, suggesting that this had been the lightest punishment she'd been expecting to the point she was actually happy that it was this rather than much much worse things left better unsaid
