Steve laughed at her comment on the trolls, and finding something for heavy lifting. He waited for her to lock her door, and letting her lead the way, he walked after her. "If it was anything but apples, I may have had to say no." Steve said jokingly, glancing over at her, but instantly back as he almost tripped on a step. Steve had already mapped out the place long ago, he assumed that there were many people who would want Captain Steve Rogers dead... he could never be too careful. They both stepped outside, and the temperature dropped rather quickly... But that didn't stop a group of kids playing good old fashioned street baseball. Steve watched them for a second, smiling at the thought that some traditions weren't dead in this modern New York. Steve never got the chance to play way back when... due to his asthma, and vitamin deficiencies, and the fact that if the ball ever did make contact with the bat, his arm would have snapped. "So, we can take a walk to Lady Liberty on this wonderful sunny day." Steve said with a bit of sarcasm. "Or we can take your car, a taxi, or my bike." Steve said. He didn't know if she had a car or not, and didn't want to make her feel like they had to take his motorcycle... although the feeling of her arms around him would probably feel pretty good... No, stop Steve. You just met the girl!
