Cassandra had to hold back laughter as she saw Ren's face when he spied Lorenzo. She nodded, and smiled as she returned to her desk, placing her mother's picture back on the desk as she did so, taking out a notepad and some pens, and without a word, tore out a couple of pages for Ren, and along with the pages, gave him a pen. 

She was writing quickly, and sighed at another interruption at the door, rising to go answer it, seeing Kiddo standing there. She gave him a smile, and looked back at Lorenzo and Ren, "We should have thought to invite Kiddo to join, then we'd all be here" 

She looked back to Kiddo, "We're just doing the homework, if you want to join. Or have you already done it? Did you need anything?" She asked, now feeling as if she just assumed he wanted to join them. She swallowed, smiled nervously.
