Location: Caffeine Junkies - Jump City "Thanks for coming in, have a nice day ma'am!" A large man with pale blond hair said as he waved goodbye to his latest customer from behind the coffee shop counter. "Hey Jacque, something's up with the frothing function for the cappuccino machine, you mind taking a look at it?", The blond man -henceforth known as Jacque- turned towards the source of the voice, his manager, a wiry haired twenty-something man, "Sure thing Ramón, you mind manning the register while I do it?", "You got it man.". Jacque walked over to the machine and began to inspect the machine for damage, finding nothing wrong until he finally eyed the culprit; the nozzle was coated in crusted over liquid, a sign that he coworkers weren't cleaning the damned thing after each use. Jacque rolled his eyes and chuckled as he wiped away the remnants of past drinks, "There you go Ramón, it's "fixed". You might wanna take a closer look next time m-", he was cut off by a buzzing in his back pocket. The young man whipped out his phone and turned away from the front, couldn't let people see him screwing around after all. Tapping the screen a few times, Jacque was met with a message from 'Uncle B.', reading as such: 'Hey Jacque, I need you to pick up my prescription from the pharmacy. The same medicine as always. I've already told the pharmacists that you'd stop by in two hours, don't be late.'. Jacque sighed and locked his phone knowing full well what the message really meant, 'That venom addiction is going to catch up to you one day Bane.' he mused as he put away his phone and turned to Ramón, starting with the same thing he always said when this happened, "Hey, i'm really sorry but..." Ramón turned to Jacque and held up a hand, "Save it, just go on ahead man. I was going to call in Anna today anyway." he said. Jacque started taking off his apron, "Thanks Ramón, I owe you for this!", "Yeah yeah, y'know if it wasn't for the fact that you put in a lot of over time i'd fire you" "And the fact that I hooked you up with that cute girl from the bike shop across the street meant nothing, right?" Jacque said before ducking behind the 'employees' only door just before his manager could retort. Once clocked out, Jacque slipped out of the cafe and jogged to his car, stopping to pull a bag from the trunk before getting in and taking off. His time working as 'Jacque' was done for the day, now, it was time for 'Titan' to earn his keep.
