"oh and... when we get their keep the mask on unless i say it's ok to take it off ok? we need to keep our faces hidden" he says softly, giving her another small kiss before putting his mask back on and leading her to a hangar containing a single shuttle on a launch pad. he walks with her to the back of it before opening the rear door which comes down like an aircraft carrier's before walking into it with her and gesturing to the copilot's seat, asking "you ever flown before?" in an even tone as he releases her hand reluctantly and sits in the pilot's seat. the ship is made simply as a six man transport with two seats for the pilots, four for the soldiers in back, and enough room to store a couple of fairly large crates if needed. he presses a few buttons to close the door behind them and do a small preflight diagnostic, which includes adding flight related components to her their huds, telling her exactly what each button does as well as listing what each meter read on the dash boards
