A loud metallic thud sounded in the air as the dart hit the bot, the sound alerting the woman on the ledge to the two behind her. Her head swiveled around, shocked by the sound, only to find a giant robot behind her with some sort of projectile sticking out of some sizzling wires. Behind it was a man, his arm pointed towards the bot. 

So that’s where that dart came from. 

Shade quickly swung her feet back over the ledge, using the momentum to kick the metal man over the side before standing up gracefully. Her icy-grey eyes locked with the man before her, a small smile on her face. “Thanks.” She chimes, the word sweetly falling from her lips. 

How did they even get up here? 

That question would be left unanswered though when she noticed dozens more of these metallic men appear on the streets below. Shade almost jumped right then and there, wanting to stop these new threats, but she was stopped when a handful of the bots landed around this new guy and her. They were outnumbered and surrounded. What was going on?
