"T-thanks." She says, attempting to shut him out of her mind, and failing. She has a few more flashbacks. Old friends, old enemies, blood being shed...a young boy. a fresh new life in the army, stamped out when he was splattered all over her armor, by a large tank round........the memories keep coming, but they don't hurt her...not anymore.
