Name: Colin Andrews Year: Junior Major (+Minor): Kinesiology (minoring in Film) Gender: Male Hometown: San Francisco, California High School: Lowell High School Position (+ Number): Wide Receiver (15) Height / Weight: 6'4"/205lbs Biography: Colin was born in San Francisco, California to a father who used to play QB for San Jose State University, and was the reserve quarterback for the Oakland Raiders for a little bit, before he was forced to retire due to an injury. Colin's mother was a nurse, but somewhat knowledgeable in football due to her husband. Colin grew up among two older sisters, and a younger brother. He started playing football at the young age of 4, playing a variety of positions. His freshman and sophomore year on the high school football team, he was the starting quarterback for the JV team, his dynamic scrambling ability and speed being utilized to his advantage when he was faced with pressure. Said ability was able to take the team to the CIF (California Interscholastic Foundation) playoffs, before they were knocked out in the semi-finals both years of his reign as JV quarterback. However, his coaches realized he was better with utilizing his speed and such to score. When he transitioned to the Varsity football team, he was put as a wide receiver, where he found even more success. Him and the quarterback were a great mix, as the duo took the team to the CIF finals two years in a row, winning both years in a dominant fashion, and accumulating approximately 3,156 yards in those two years. Sentinel State recruited him as a wide receiver not too soon after his last high school game, and he was put on as the second string wide receiver his freshman year, being upgraded to starter and winning a championship as a result. Personality: Colin is a rather reserved person, keeping his aggression and such for the field. His demeanor whenever he isn't playing football is calm, chill, and generally ice cold. He also has a knack for being able to focus relatively well on his academics, allowing him to hold a 3.5 GPA in college.
