Sharon hated feeling weak, that was something she detested with all of her might and wanting nothing to do with feeling weak, lower or caught in any fashion and right now; she was all three. Weak kneed, lower because she fell forward and caught by his strong hands helping her stay upright. But somehow, in some strange way, she felt okay feeling ‘weak’ at the moment. For the first time in her life, she felt safe and safe was a new feeling for her. His story made a much more confident smile instead of her pathetically weak one. If someone like him could have issues getting off a bike then there was no reason she couldn’t. “I’m glad I’m not the only one.” She said with a nod. When he asked if she was alright, she placed her hands gently on his forearms, holy crap they were big… and used him for balance as she stuck one leg out, giving it a shake than did the same with the other. “Okay, I think I’ve regained my ability to walk. Though… my butt’s still vibrating which is an experience I’ve only had on those massage chairs at the fair where is just shakes you for five minutes.” Her tone was all joking as she let go of his forearms rather slowly, not really wanting to, and gave him a smile. “Shall we?” As they started towards the pier to join the next fair she began to question if this was a date date or just two people going somewhere together. If he paid for it, that makes it a date right? But if she paid for herself than it wasn’t, right? How do you go about asking something like that? As the ticket counter grew closer and closer her heart sped up, waiting for the defining moment of being at the ticket booth… how do you go about something like this when you honestly don’t know?!?
