Name: Jimmy Bustamante Year: Freshman Major/Minor: Business Gender: Male Position (+ Number): Cornerback #21 Biography: Jimmy Bustamante or Jay was born in Houston, Texas to an ex-drug dealer who means well and a cancer survivor. Along with a twin brother his mother alone raised him. Normally in the story this is when the the kid would play ball to stay out of trouble, but he didn't even start playing till 7th grade. It was a rough couple years, but after enough hard work he started for Houston High. It was hard to start as a freshman in a 5A school. Everybody was faster, stronger, and taller, that left a young Jimmy spinning in circles. He hated being that little freshman, but however little he was to them he was good. The following summer Jimmy grew 6 inches and that's when he was noticed. It was the last district game and the QB decided a short smash route. The receiver never knew what hit him and he dropped the ball. At that point its just instinct to pick it up and Jay did, he took it back for a 65 yard defensive TD that won. The next day the newspapers were ecstatic about "The Shot Heard Around the World." It took that little bit of media exposure for Jimmy to ignite. The following years were full of hard hits and an almost signature lock down man which led to being avidly pursuit for Sentinel State. Now on the field he's a pissed off 6'6" man angry at any personal mistake. Height: 6'6" Weight: 220 Appearance: Jimmy has tanned skin covering an athletic build, dark brown eyes, and black hair that normally is put up. He also has a Houston Star on his shoulder.
