Dani turned to find Liam sitting next to him.
"Oh, hello." Dani replied. He hadn't even realized someone was sitting next to him. Was she here when he arrived, or had she just sat down?
"How're you today, Liam?" he asked. He decided to pretend the Incident never happened, hopefully she would, too. Of course, it wasn't exactly her fault the ceiling or something fell on top of her, he just wished that someone else had been there to fix her up. Being a surgeon was [i]not[/i] one of the things Dani was going to be when he grew up. Not that he was going to grow up. Dani didn't know if he enjoyed or despised being immortal.
