Tarkus was honestly a bit surprised to see Morella smile, he almost wanted to make a comment about it, but he restrained himself out of fear of her following up on her threat of giving him a concussion. When she pulled out the boots from her bag, Tarkus' eyes lite up just a bit, he'd seen them before, but it was still a sight to see, a weapon made from Obsidium wasn't the most common sight for most after all. She handed him one of the boots, he noted the intricate detailing along the smooth ebony metal, and couldn't help but run his finger along what she explained was a Dust power line. "So, these things light up when Dust is used...flashy, but I gotta admit, that sounds pretty cool." He thought to himself as he flicked the boot, following her example. A low, harmonic hum rang out through the contact point, the kind that let you know the metal was well-made. He turned the boot in his hand, beginning to examine the sole of the boot. He was about to touch what appeared to be a hatch, before she explained just how many sharp and pointy things could come out of the sole of the boot. He slowly drew his hand back out of fear of activating one of the many blades in the boot, and handed the it back to Morella's waiting hand. "You weren't kidding when you said you made improvements...I don't know how you'd solve the multi-glyph gate problem, but you could always try put a multi-Dust pool chamber, something like Panzerfaust, though I'm not too sure how that'd work with Glyph gates.Rather than trying to fire them off in quick succession, is it possible to instead prep them up in some sort of formation? Then again...that would require prep work...an Autoloader could work but they can jam...maybe an expanded chamber..." Tarkus began muttering to himself after a while, his mind tumbling over the countless possibilites, impossible or not, to find an improvement for the Slicers. He eventually stopped, his left hand clutched around his chin in a resting position as he laid his elbow on the table. He let out a sigh before a smile started tugging at his mouth. "Anyways, for now, I'd say you'd be able to kick doors down with those. I dunno about the Successive Glyphs, but I don't think it's impossible. They told Cliff Simmons it'd be impossible to make a catapult into a weapon, and then he won the whole Mistral Regional with one!" Tarkus said rather enthusiastically, sure Simmons won almost 10 years ago, but that was the only Regional Tarkus felt was amazing to watch. He started looking around at the other students at the Food Court, taking in all the faces normally instead of just using his Aura to scan them all out. "Quite the crowd here..." He murmured.
