Aw :c Well I always get inspiration from watching stuff! Also looking at art of people, I always start wondering what their personalities are like and wonder where they come from. I'm a huge dork though.

You could also use old characters but add a new twist. Sometimes I take the basics of one character and think about different things that could have happened to them, or different decisions that they could have made. How does that make them different? How does it change them? Stuff like that.
