The date is January 1st, 1492 and it is the year Christopher Columbus is to sail the ocean blue. You, the player, must take the reigns of a nation and lead it through this revolutionary time. Although European exploration of the New World will be a big part of this RP in the early stages, it is not the only part and any nation is up for grabs! More than that, the New World has been turned into a fantasy setting! "What does that mean?" I hear you ask. Well, it means that the New World doesn't only have humans on it, but also fantasy humanoid races for nations and fantasy creatures like dragons and unicorns exist alongside the likes of bears and llamas. There isn't explicit magic in the New World (i.e. spells, wizards, enchanted items, etc.) but all civilizations are completely unique. And you can be one! Gameplay: This RP will be largely free-form, played with high casual/advanced sized posts to play out your nation. I want you to try to keep it realistic (which I realize is slightly ironic), but in large part what happens is up to you. Want to play Castille and not fund Christopher Columbus? That's fine. Europe won't know about the New World until later. More specific rules in the OOC. Some Available Nations: Castille England Portugal Aragon France Denmark Norway Ottoman Empire Korea (Not Limited to These) OR Player Created New World Nations So... Any interest in the idea? Post a list of your top three (3) nations you want to play with "New World Nation" if you want to play one of them, and provide either a portion of the map for the area you want (preferable) or a description (as detailed as possible) and I'll try my best to get that for you.
