[Robert] The gargoyle disappears just like the golem did, and a couple copper coins drop to the floor. I hand one of them to Miles, and one of them to Elena, assuming that neither of them spent any of their money, that would mean that they both have six copper coins each. Soon enough, that is, after following the arrows back, we find the giant steel 'door'. Of course, given that it didn't have a handle on it anywhere, I'm not sure that this qualified as a door, at all. The metal was as reflective as I thought it would be, and the 'door' itself was about thirty feet tall... something also told me that this wasn't the only steel part of this section... perhaps this entire area was boxed in steel, which would make getting into the place trickier. I imagined that the place also had a steel floor, as it had to protect itself from being entered from underground... that is, if it wanted to stay a secret from the dig-happy moles that lived relatively close to the place. I knew what I had to do, I had to mimic that phoenix again. I started by flying into... well, higher underground, after that, I started spinning myself like a drill, however, I ended up falling and landing right on my face. I tried a couple more times, but to no avail, until, eventually, I got it. I did what I did the other few times, and then finally got to the point where I added in the fire breath, just to add that extra punch that would change this from a failed effort to a success. I flew right towards the door, and my claws in addition to the fire effortlessly punched right through the steel, creating a hole big enough for at least Elena to fit through. I then stopped my attack and landed... finding myself in an odd room that appeared to be a hedge maze, one that seemed to have a skylight, one look outside told me that either we were under one of the poles, or this wasn't Earth. --- [Tony] Val's attention seemed to turn towards something else for a moment, and Ralph seemed to want to know what that was all about. I responded with "Well... maybe she's just not used to her new ears, I mean, she has to be able to hear at least ten times better than she used to... so... sounds probably easily distract her, that's all," I then head out of the cave, and over to the nearest tree. It wasn't too large, but probably big enough to at least become one support beam for us. One step at a time, Tony. This place will be livable soon enough... wait, where's my saw? I think as I start to remember that I left my saw back at home, which would make chopping down this tree much more of a challenge, that is, until I toyed with my earth powers for a bit, and eventually created an axe made completely out of stone. I then chopped down that tree, which was about fifteen feet tall and one foot in diameter... unfortunately, I wasn't strong enough, even after this transformation, to carry the thing back. I tried a few times, but it didn't work, at all. I head back into the cave, somewhat tired and probably looking a little defeated. "Well... if you're asking, I just chopped down a nearby tree, but, I can't actually bring it back. Kinda sucks, because that thing was probably big enough to make a support beam for the cave," I say to the team before they ask where I was and why I looked tired.
