Steve tried to recall the last time he was on a date. It was the night before Bucky was deployed to go to Europe. They went to Howard Stark's Technology Expo, where he ditched his date to try and enlist in the military yet again. They climbed on board the ferry, Steve couldn't get the small smile off his face as he watched the blonde that was now his date. he hoped she didn't mind some hot dogs, the best in the world they say, although Chicago would disagree. He looked at both Lady Liberty as Sharon as they got closer and closer, when asked how big it was, he looked up at it. "305 feet, and one inch from base to torch." he said casually, leaning on the rail as well. Steve had a photographic memory thanks to the serum, everything he glanced at or read was stuck in his mind. The ferry landed at Liberty Island, and people started filing out. Steve stood close to Sharon due to the tight space, and that he liked the smell of her perfume. Now that they were up close to the iconic symbol. "Alright, I hope you don't mind the high dining of some New York dogs." Steve said with a smile, leading them to the hot dog stand just a few feet away from the dock. This day was going a bit too perfectly... Wasn't there always a catch in Steve's life? Becoming the perfect soldier, losing his best friend in action. Getting the girl of his dreams, having to sacrifice his life to save her and the world. Somehow survive that crash, lose everyone and everything you've ever known... But the look of her smile and those eyes behind the glasses told him that he wasn't going to get any surprises like than any time soon, or at least he hoped... Steve ordered the two hot dogs. Steve had the works on it, a classic new York styled dog, and he recited Sharon's order to the vendor before handing it to her. He also got them two sodas. "Bon Appetite" Steve said with a smile, hoping this wasn't too lame of first date cuisine.
