Well... Naruto has that as well. Temari, Tenten, Tsunade, Tsunade's assistant who's name escapes me... But of course it all depends on your definition of "based on men". But... [hider=possible spoilers for code geass] CG is a completely different kind of animal. It has its focus on relationships instead of "doing cool stuff" and thus they are forced to put more effort into the characters and their feelings. Everything from Lelouch's best friend being his nemesis to him forcing his one love to forget about him to his best soldier trying to kill his "real" personality... It works because of the setting. Neither of these characters could've worked in Naruto and vice versa. I enjoyed CG a lot, it's one of very few mecha-animes I've been able to watch because the fucus was on characters and not cool stuff. But at times it is a little bit silly in what the resistance can get away with.[/hider]
