Y'know, back in the mansion, we found this secret hall behind a bookshelf, and you know what Leila did? Well, she charged in like it was freaking nothing." Lesley had a hand resting on his hip as he nodded with the smile still spread widely over his face, "Wow," he exhaled in awe, "I'm really impressed Ms.Leila." Looking towards the girl as Riley wandered off, she just stared up at him with a stunned and confused expression. After a few seconds of blank eye contact with Lesley still grinning from ear to ear, Leila simply swiveled around on her heels and walked a few steps away from him to stop and observe the others searching the not-so-spacious interior of the cabin. Shoving a hand in his pocket, he glanced up at the ceiling awkwardly and waddled off to the side. 'Ok then. A little socially challenged, but still cute' It had been decided that a secret room might possibly be hiding the dragon and rider they were looking for, so now they were on a quest to seek out a special switch alike to the one Leila and Riley had supposedly found back at the mansion. The place wasn't very big at all so he was sure they'd be able to find it in no time. He didn't see the need to help since there were so many of them already plus the room smelled putrid. At the same moment he was about to announce his decision to wait out on the porch, Leon brought up a question that pertained to what everyone was doing before hopping on the train. Short answers revealed little bits of people's background and lifestyle back on Earth. Some people looked saddened, some just normal, others, like Ace, looked a little bit annoyed. But Lesley, he was far from just a tiny bit annoyed, he was rather pissed about getting whisked away from his dream school. It was a good thing this place was so magical and fun because if it was for any other reason, he would be a wreck right now. Another positive that came out from being lured on board was that he was able to meet these people. Though he would've much rather befriend them on home turf, it was nice to know that he wasn't the only one trying to escape and figure out what exactly they had gotten themselves into. Leila's response was a little bit odd, but she was kind of a strange individual so he shrugged. Maybe they'd come to learn more in depth histories of each other. During the item hunts, most of it consisted of trying to survive and killing things. When they did get the chance to rest though, all of them were usually too tired to engage with anyone so it was harder to really get to know one another. "It was my first day in the city of my new school, well, supposed to be at least. I was just out exploring and then," he paused and sighed heavily, "Hmm, seems like everyone got here the same way. What bothers me the most is why?" He was scratching the back of his head as he was back on the topic of why a magical would stop by Earth to try and lure people on so they could have them retrieve objects for the Queen. "Martini," Lesley approached the desk she was sitting at. "You're good friends with the Queen right? Do you know when or why you guys started getting human shipments? People even die on these missions don't they? Look what happened to Vince!" The tone of his voice was increasing in frustration by the second. He was coming to see how pointless this all was. The train had seduced them on in the first place, but why were they all stuck there just trying to get back. This was all just some huge death trap. These guides, they get new shipments every year. More humans dying trying to get back to Earth by completing these tasks for a Queen they had no real relation to whatsoever. Staring straight into Martini's eyes he slammed a hand down on the table as he hovered over her sitting figure. "Tell me. Tell me how many shipments of humans you guys have gotten and tell me how many have died!" Tonight was nothing but an emotional roller coaster for him. From sadness, to devastation, fear and triumph. Happiness and thankfulness, which had now morphed into anger and puzzlement. Up until now, these people including himself have all just been robotically obeying this Queen's orders. Of course, they were in her kingdom, but she was no Queen to him back on Earth so why were they all showing her such great respect? Now it was all unfolding in his gullible little brain. He needed answers.
