"I'm pretty good. I had a pretty enjoyable day." Dani replied.
"I should b-buy you a drink for helping me last time." Liam said, and got up to leave. Dani opened his mouth to say something, but she left before he could.
[i]...So much for the 'Nothing Happened' approach...[/i] Dani thought with a sigh. As Liam headed off towards the bar, he leaned back and looked at the sky. Even though it was evening, it was still hot enough to get anyone sweating. Well, anyone except Dani. Spectres didn't sweat, apparently. Dani found the differences between an ordinary human and a spectre's disguise interesting to discover. Life is full of mysteries. Being a spectre was definitely one of them.
