As Sia walked in, he couldn’t help but grin at her, flashing his straight pearly white teeth. She was always a fun person to be around, especially when she got bubbly and outgoing. A spitball in her own way and fun to chit chat with. It was hard to believe she hadn’t found a mate, human or not. But then again, being the type of guy that he was, he was pretty sure no one would meet what he would consider a standard to being able to be with her. He had high standards of who she should be with, she better as well. Little did he know, she was going to be forced to go below both his and her standards for a mate. “I think you said that last time.” He called out playfully to her as he stretched a long muscular arm across the top of the couch. He had stripped off his dress jacket upon arrival so he was comfortable in a button up white shirt and black slacks since he just came from an interview. His head fell back against the couch as he leaned over watching her work in the kitchen with his innocent chocolate eyes. Oh Jett played the innocent game whenever he could though anyone that knew him as well as Sia did, knew he was far from innocent. “That bad huh?” Taking the beer from her with his lounging hand from the armrest, he cracked it open with a single finger and took a swig of his own. Ah beer, how wonderful you are. Humans are geniuses for inventing such a thing! There wasn’t a vampire alive who didn’t drink beer or wine at one point or another and Jett was someone who took part in it whole heartedly. His parents didn’t approve of this, the press loved it and Jett, well Jett didn’t give a shit about what anyone else thought. Simple as that. Swallowing the beer he gave her a pushed up facing thought. “But I don’t know the story and I know I’m adorable so you’re bound to let me take you home in one form or another.” A cheeky arrogant grin moved across his face as he drank his beer again. When she mentioned Veronica, he swallowed hard knowing all too well that the question was coming. “Well...” He began obviously wanting to bounce around the topic and not to talk about it. His gaze flicked up towards Sia only to catch that look of ‘you’re going to tell me’ which made him sigh in defeat. “I ended it with her. And since you’re… well you.” He gave her a small smile. “I’ll tell you why. She got extremely clingy.” With that he shook the can in his hand, disappointed that there was a small amount left in his. “I mean there’s my definition of clingy where if you want to spend every day with me and I don’t want to with you, I define that as clingy but she wouldn’t want me to talk to female reporters. I couldn’t sit down in a stylist chair before going on stage if they were females working on me. I couldn’t go to strip clubs…” He caught her eye, a twinkle of playfulness in his chocolate colors. “Kidding. But I couldn’t order a coffee from a girl, it literally came down to where I couldn’t be around any females or I’d be cheating on her, checking out other women. Fuck I couldn’t even pose for a photo with a fan without her screaming at me about it showing up online.” Shrugging slightly he took a swig of his final drink of his beer before putting the can down on the coffee table. “I don’t know why she wouldn’t believe me when I said that I was serious about her I meant loyal too but she just didn’t believe me due to my past history.” Shrugging his large shoulders he let out a sigh, “So yeah, dumped her. It was easier than dealing with her egotistical controlling jealous manner. And that’s the story.”
