They didn't even give me a warning... so lame "Well come on then Kiddo." Ren said. They kept even with each other the whole way through. He had to admit, Kiddo had some skills. The obstacle course was fairly easy for anyone in a decent shape, he was sure it was just to test and make sure they were prepared for more advanced activities. They started at the basics, that's for sure, but he couldn't expect anything more so soon. The siblings were at the end of the obstacle course, one laughing and the other panting for breath, by the time the other two had hit the middle. They really are something. Ren only gave that comment to Cassandra and Lorenzo to push them to do their best, but they didn't need to know that. Sometimes it just takes a little competition, or even doubting someones abilities to make them show you all they have. Ren saw that they both were more than in shape, and were extremely quick and agile to boot. I don't think I could keep up with them even if I tried. Ren thought truthfully. He'd stick to Kiddo's speed from now on, they were more on the same level, physically anyways. Ren saw what he could do with the sword as well, impressive, to say the least. With these three in the front lines, I don't think a demon will even get near me. Maybe I should train more with a long ranged rifle to back them up, if they even need it. He pulled up to the two siblings sitting on the ground with Kiddo in tow, and said,"Well looks like Cassandra won! Good job! But next time, I'll leave you both in the dust, just wait!" He put on the same grin as always. He sure was lucky he found people like this.
