Steve parked the bike right outside the grocery store, easy walking distance from their apartments. He climbed off the bike, and offered his hand once again to the beautiful blonde. she took it to his liking, and even more to his liking she kept her hand in his... There's no large crowd, no scary looking men around... He gently tightened his hold on her hand, giving a small smile. "Let's go." Steve confirmed. Together they walked in to the store. He looked around to see the store wasn't as crowded, and the radio was playing softly through the aisles. "alright.... Lets see... apples would be in...." Steve trailed off, looking at the aisle description above their heads.... He trailed off a bit more than usual as he noticed just how close Sharon was to him, the smell of her perfume still intoxicating, and the feeling of her warm hand in his made him think of nothing but that. "Produce aisle.... right...." he finally said with a nod. As they made their way to the fruits, Steve's attention turned to the radio. It was no longer playing music. "It has been 6 months since the super hero group 'The Avengers' saved this very city from an unbelievable foe. And as the city remembers them with merchandise and unlimited amount of praise, where are they now?" The announcer kept talking about how Tony Stark seemed to be the only one seen active now. he laughed a bit, knowing it was true. He loved the camera, just like his father. Then they speculated on where the others went. And the rumors that the living legend Captain America was living here in New York... if only they knew. Steve lead them to the fruits on the stand, and the nice red apples in front of them. "So what type of apples does this 'best apple pie' call for?" Steve asked with a smile, still not wanting to let go of her hand but knowing that he will soon enough so she can pick whichever apples she needs.
