As the Jesters surprisingly warm hands cupped her face, Evie's jealousy and fascination with the Jester melted away. She stared into his eyes and it was as though she were looking into the sun, a feeling of ease and cal spreading over her. He spoke and leaned in closer to her, perhaps close enough to kiss. Evie's cheeks were not as flush as before, but the small blush that made them so rosy was still there. He talked of her... most intimate desires and it scared her, yet at the same time pulled her further into his mystery. There was no one but the two of them, in this suddenly very empty world. Ace wanted nothing more than to disappear just as his tome had the advantage of disappearing. He slowly stepped forward to be beside his Superior. His eyes were hardened and looked at the others with a sense of warning. "Your loyalties shall only lie with the Superior," He declared, glaring at both Midgard, and then Asgard. His eyes lingered on hers, as if pleading... something to her. "She is the one and only truth of this world, and I feel loyalty only to her. As you said, Yuki," He paused to allow his gaze to pierce through her armor. His tone became... accusatory. "To change things now would be unquestionable, right? So stand beside us." He would stand by his Superior, no matter what... even if it killed him.
