"The sweeter the better." Steve nodded in agreement, and laughing at her mighty challenge for him. He was glad that her hand was still in his. His first official date was turning out much better than he expected. Spending the day with a beautiful woman, seeing his city, and now an apple pie is going to be made! He walked with her to the check out line, and he couldn't help but listen in to the conversation the two older women were having. He couldn't help but give a very soft laugh, shaking his head. "He's a spitting image of his father..." He muttered, not really intending it to be for anyone. Howard Stark was one of the minds that helped with the Super Soldier Serum. He funded it. He also had a very fun time flirting with Peggy in front of him (He was very confused on what Fondue was and meant back then). but like his son, he could be obnoxious, and arrogant, but they both want the world to be a safe place. Howard Stark also co-founded S.H.I.E.L.D. with Peggy, and Colonel Chester Phillips. From what he knew, he also was in charge for trying to find Steve's body, but only found the thing that would inevitably start the Battle of New York. As the women finished their conversation Steve felt another new sensation on his arm. Sharon's head rested gently on him. Steve understood what it meant... she was happy, and to be honest, he was beyond happy himself. As they were up next, the old woman at the counter when wide eyed. "Steven!" She said with a smile. "I haven't seen you in a while, dear!" The old woman was the owner of the store. When he first moved in to his apartment he came her to get some things, just in time to see a robber holding her a gunpoint. Needless to say, The crook was knocked out cold, and the Mrs. Ramero was very very thankful. "How're you doing, Miss Ramero? Yeah, just got back in to town yesterday... You alright? No one's been giving you trouble?" he asked, taking out his wallet to pay for the apples. "No need to pay, they're on the house... And no trouble, the whole neighborhood seems to know not to dare do anything suspicious because of you. Its like they think you're a super hero or something." She said with a laugh. if only everyone knew... "Thank you very much. Although I might come back later some time this week. I got rotten food in the fridge, its been a while since I've been home..." He said kinda embarrassed that Sharon overheard that part. "Oh, and Mrs Ramero, this is Sharon Carter, who just moved to New York. Miss Carter, this is Mrs. Valarie Ramero, local store owner." They had a small conversation before Steve and Sharon made their way out. She could have talked for hours, and he didn't want to waste any time for that Apple pie, and spending time with Sharon! "She's a nice lady. Helped her with a robber a couple months back." He explained as he once again handed her the helmet, got on the bike, and once she was nice and close, he made the short trip to their apartments.
