Ryder set Varus down next to Hay, then took a few steps back to observe what was to happen, sitting down on his metal rump, tail dragging to coil to his right side. Hay stepped closer to the collection of armor, looking over it to see anything crazy obvious as damage. Thankfully nothing seemed to be painfully obvious. Shock armor had a way of dealing with shock and trauma. "Rennac, I need your help to get his helmet off. I need to check his body." Varus inside was reeling, but his senses were coming back slowly. His ears were ringing, but at least they weren't silent anymore. He could also feel his skin, and it was surprisingly not harmed. He didn't feel like his whole body was broken, only his head.
