Harrison stood there shocked and wide-eyed at their remarks of him being crazy and idiotic for wanting to escape. He couldn't believe his ears. They were were willing to stay in a danger-zone and endanger their own lives in a hellhole of paranoia. Harrison has heard of the infamous stupidity of the Americans but he did not realize that it would go to the extent of whether or not they live. He was about to counter argue the both of them until he overheard them saying that the little girl was infected. Harrison stared at the little girl and couldn't believe it. A little girl, full of purity and innocence, was infected and possibly doomed to become a rabid creature. He was then threatened by the father not to tell the military. Harrison did not like being threatened but he understood the paternal anger. He's a father himself, he understands. "One thing: why on earth would I tell the soldiers that your daughter is infected when I don't even trust the soldiers? Two: why on earth would both of you place your lives in the hands of those men out there? In a police state people can crack from paranoia and fear, you know this, but what if one of the men who carries the gun cracks, then we got a riot on our hands and some scared rookie who fires on some of them because he was afraid." He then grabs a towel and starts wiping his face. He places it back down. "I am also not sure if you have noticed that they are bordering up some of the windows and guarding all the exits. If they were to move us in an event, why would they border this place up like a siege then? Something is going to happen and we are going to be caught in the middle of it. So forgive my panicking and forgive my rambling but I am just trying to stay alive and hopefully keep you alive as well." He went to the small bathroom window to look outside. He knew it was too small to escape. He was just trying to get some knowledge of the outside. "Oh and one more thing: the name's Harrison." They were tense in this room and he'll most likely be met with hostility. He was a doctor for nearly two decades. It wouldn't be the first time someone he is trying to help threw it back in his face.
