"Amen." The word from Raymond's mouth echoed through the church. "Amen" The people in the church responded.... The sermon was over, the priest saw as how the church-goers were leaving through the main door... He sighed and walked away from the altar, taking a seat on the nearby bench. He was standing there and preaching for three hours straight... His legs ached. The man sat there for several minutes, just thinking, until an altar boy brought him a cup of tea. He thanked the boy and took a sip of the tea. It was Earl Grey with a single teaspoon of sugar. Just how he liked it. After he has finished his drink in quiet, he has stood up and said goodbye to the ones that were still in the church. He sat in his car drove home. It was a rather hot Sunday that day. The sun was scorching the town, and by the time Raymond has reached home, he was soaked in sweat no matter the fact that all windows were open. He looked to the sky and thought a bit, before going to his front door and coming in. The priest has taken a glass of water and drunk it rather quickly. After that, he changed into his everyday clothes and started on his daily routine - cleaning the house, watering the plants, and then after all that, in the evening, praying.
