Mostly he'll get progressively more aggravated and impulsive. It's not so much that going out of routine makes him angry, it just makes him a lot more likely to react unpredictably. He's spent the vast majority of his life getting used to living alone, and it's taken him several years to get used to living in an asylum. Routine is what he's used to and it's what helps him feel grounded.
