(Why did I have a feeling this would happen? Lol)

Serenity's powers suddenly reacted on their own. A force field surrounded Serenity and the hole, right as she heard a loud echo behind her. A shriek escaped her voice as she jumped.

"What in the world?" She gasped. A single bullet was lying on the ground. "Oh my god.." She cried out. Was someone trying to shoot at her? She stood bewildered and confused. Serenty couldn't believe what had just happened. 

Someone with a white glow surrounding them was running toward them fast. In an instant she knew the person's powers and abilities. Did this person attack her? Serenity's brain felt like it was about to fizzle in fright.
