[Robert] For some odd reason, Miles was... er... dripping? Sweating? He was doing something that tipped me off that he might be nervous about this. I then turn to see Elena trying to cut through the hedges... only to have them regrow not even two seconds after she finished. I then had a couple of ideas, one would involve Miles, but he seemed somewhat, well, nervous, so I had to go with another plan to at least not get lost in this place. "Hey, Elena, instead of cutting through the bushes, maybe you could try leaving a water or ice trail so we don't get lost," I state as I start walking forwards, only to end up behind Miles somehow. Wait... how the heck did that even happen? I went in a straight line! I think as I try again, only to end up behind Miles again, which probably means that I shouldn't be the leader, at least, not for now. Mazes and general directions were always a weak point for me, and this was nothing short of humiliating. I simply stood behind Miles, not wanting to get lost, end up back here, and embarrass myself again. Of course, I would have rather stood behind Elena, but... nah, she has to stay behind all of us to make sure that we can keep the trail up. I knew that the water would stay there for a while, as it wasn't too warm in here, and the floor, at least, save for the parts where the hedges grew, was iron, which honestly felt very uncomfortable and cold to me, but it wasn't that much of an issue. --- [Tony] I watch as Val summons some sort of shadowy hands which reminded me of one of those Mario games that my nephew played. The game had something to do with crystal stars and a very large door of some sort. One of the bosses had that as its attack, though, in this case, the hands were certainly helpful... however, it didn't seem as though Val could hold the tree for very long, not on her own, anyways. "Wait, let me help," I say to her as I head towards the tree and hold the far end of the tree, which used to be the bottom. "Okay, now, we're going to have to bring it into the cave, next to Connor," I say with some obvious strain in my voice. I then start heading into the cave with the tree, or, rather, I wait for Val to start heading in. We'd need some sort of medical miracle to get her back on her feet today with what she's been through, though, it didn't seem like anything like that existed, at least, not yet and not anymore. Wings with talons on the end of them might not have been the best choice to try to hold something with, but it was the only option I had, and the sap started running all over my feathers, which felt really weird, but not weird enough to get me to drop this thing, no, nothing short of getting shot somewhere would get me to drop this tree. I had to help her, as it seemed as though she was putting just too much strain on herself, and really any bit of aid would help her out immensely. Ralph just sort of flew there, which made sense, as birds weren't really meant to pick things up that are heavier than they are. He did, however, note that Val didn't look too good with her nose bleeding and her knees trembling... and I'd have to agree with him.
