All of you shut up and let me deal with this.

1) I do not know every detail of history, and the same is true for many people in this RP. Others have a better knowledge, and that is good, but you are going to have to accept that others don't.
2) The realism issue is a tough one. When I said I wanted realism, what I was referring to was techology and, to a lesser extent, tactics. But decisions to give away or invade land are rather more difficult to deal with, and that is something I will be taking on a case-by-case basis. Alliances I will, for the most part, not be restricting. You want to ally yourself with your arch-nemesis? Go ahead. Read the introduction - it says you take the reigns of a nation. You are the leader, and if historically your nation had cold relations with a nation, but you want to be warm and friendly with them, then that is your right.
3) Shut up about Queen Victoria. Pasta made few dumb decisions that snowballed, and we tried to get him out. That has been dealt with. Move on. Perhaps it wasn't very realistic, but it was the best way I could think of for getting past it. It was something, I might add, that happened in one of Fry's WiRs on the ParadoxPlaza forums as well.
4) This is my first time GMing a WiR, so of course I will be making mistakes. But you guys constantly fighting and arguing with each other is really not helping. If you have a legitimate concern, take it up with me in a pm, don't just vent about it here.
5) If you really don't like the way this is being run, I would like to remind you that I do have an ever-growing waiting list, and you are always free to leave.
