– Kathy Following Darwin’s pointing with her eyes, Kathy did indeed catch a glimpse of the familiar red hair. Fidgeting a little, she got up from her seat but hesitated as she looked back at Darwin. She wanted to go up to greet Crash but it didn’t seem right to just leave Darwin after he had gone through the trouble of even pulling up a chair beside her. “Y-Yeah… I think that was him.” She looked in the direction the unicorn had pointed once more. Standing up now, she could easily spot him among the crowd. Her mind waved back and forth between all the choices. ‘I could just ask Darwin to wait a bit and go talk to him… Or maybe I’ll ask Darwin to come with me? But I could just-’ Another announcement was made by the principle at that point, interrupting her thoughts. Moving her gaze away from Crash, she looked up at their outgoing principle standing up on a table. ‘Oh, that explains quite a bit actually.’ She thought, listening carefully to the recounts about their second day at school. Though… Kathy frowned a bit. She wasn’t particularly happy to be reminded about the events back at school. Especially not the incident back at the auditorium. Making up her mind after hearing the announcement, she turned to Darwin and told him, “Sorry… I’m just going to go over and congratulate Crash a bit.” After smiling apologetically she began to weave her way through the crowd. Since no one was really moving around all that much it wasn’t hard to get to where he was. Reaching him and Mercy she greeted both of them with a small wave. “Hey.” Then looking at Crash specifically she continued, “Congratulations. Looks like you did a really great job that day.” Blushing slightly, she smiled at him. Kathy felt a little down about being reminded about the incident again, but she was actually doing quite a bit better than she had expected. Or rather, it wasn’t easy for her to stay depressed near Crash now. ‘It’s almost unfair how easily he can affect my mood.’ ------ – Leroy “Does it bother you that much? Not having face paint on I mean.” Obviously not caring slowly coax into the topic, Leroy got straight to the point and questioned the strange behaviour he observed from Little Feather. ‘Your hand is probably covering more than any paint ever did right now.’ He thought, raising his brow slightly at the way she seemed to be attempting to hide her face from view. Though he was certainly pleased that she didn’t express any intent to talk about his ability to others, he didn’t really trust her to stay that way forever. ‘Now the real question is if I want, or even can, do anything about it.’ Keeping the warm smile on his face, he nodded when Little Feather took his hand. “Glad you’re still interested.” He told her, his amusement apparent in his light tone of voice. Matching his pace to hers, Leroy followed Little Feather to the secluded area. On the way though, he couldn’t help but chuckle at how strange and conspicuous they probably seemed as they weaved through the crowd of students. Pretending not to notice the curious looks he just kept his gaze forward, making sure not to lock eyes with anyone. It was far too late to keep a low profile, but he figured no one would actually approach them to ask what they were doing and lose interest soon enough. Feeling her hand slip out of his own he joked, “You could’ve held on for a bit longer if you wanted to. I can work with just one hand.” Tilting his head slightly to the side he kept his eyes on her face attempting to gauge her reaction. Leroy had planned on suggesting they crouch down to hide behind the foliage, so he was pleasantly surprised when she took the initiative again and did that on her own. Getting down onto the ground, he sat with his legs crossed, making himself nice and comfortable before answering her question. “Can’t remember exactly how much I told you, but basically I just think about an emotion and put some ink on the person. When I do, he or she will start feeling the emotion I was thinking about. Simple enough right?” Reaching into his pockets, he took out his 3 precious bottles of ink. Red, blue, and yellow. “The red I can apply directly, but I don’t have the exact shade of greenish yellow that you had for the other lines. I can mix a bit of the blue and yellow together to create some green. Probably won’t reach the exact same shade though I could try to make something close.” He told her, recalling the 5 lines he had seen on her face back at the auditorium. “Or you can try something different if you’d like. No idea if any symbols of colours mean anything to you particularly, so you’ll have to warn me about that first if you’re actually going to just leave it up to me.” He placed the bottles on the ground between them to let her take a closer look at them if she wished to. “By the way, remember that I won’t be able to do a thing if you keep your hand up like that.” He reminded her, one corner of his smile lifted up slightly higher than the other. “And you know…” Leroy reached out and brushed a lock of her long hair over Little Feather’s shoulder, deliberately brushing the tip of his fingers along her neck as he did so. “Has anyone told you that you’re a little ‘defenseless’ or ‘careless’?” He had another joyful look in his eyes as he studied her expression. “Are you so preoccupied with the face paint that you’re not noticing these things? Or maybe it’s because there’s still quite a bit of people nearby?” Waiting for her reaction, Leroy had begun to contemplate whether or not he would risk doing something more 'dramatic' to Little Feather. A potential reason behind it was to ensure she wouldn't be in the right mind to talk about his ability but... 'Nah, that's not it.' He thought to himself, chuckling at his own attempts to make excuses. 'As always, I just want to see what happens.' However, as if on cue, the principle had decided to make a second announcement of sorts. His interest was piqued by the mention of the "King's Game", but otherwise he didn't really care much for the rest of the announcement and pretty much ignored it. He hadn't even bothered to turn around to look at Maria as she spoke. 'Guess it'll be bad to do something too big with the principle around. I don't want to kicked out of the school yet after all.' Thinking it was a pity he couldn't just go ahead with the more 'fun experiments', he waited patiently for her to make some decisions.
