Background: Born in the Last City, beneath the might of the Traveler, Iliana was raised by a former Guardian, cut down in his prime due to the loss of his right arm, and his wife. She was raised just below the noble classes, due to her father's standing as a Guardian before her birth. He was a very intelligent man, a Warlock, in fact, who continued to devote his life to studying the Traveler and all that the mysterious sphere had to offer. Her mother, on the other hand, worked very hard to raise the girl. The silver lining to her father's injury came with the home they were given and the job he acquired at the Academy, where he would teach aspiring Warlocks and scholars what he could. Even after losing his status as an official Guardian, Iliana's father's Ghost remained with them. It was not until Iliana came of age that they realized why - he became her Ghost and allowed her passage for Guardian training.

She and her best friend, Asurya, an Awoken girl who lived not far from her, enlisted at the same time and were trained together. To this day, they're one of the closest-knit duos of the Guardian Fire Teams. While they try to keep to themselves, it isn't uncommon for them to invite a third or fourth member on their excursions, depending on the nature of the mission. [/HIDER]

Contact Horizon is a 1x1 between Scout & Anima - though we welcome posts to the OOC, we would like to mention that the Destiny universe has only hit the consoles in Beta form and little is known. Furthermore, even after release, an immense amount of information posted will certainly be non-canon and contain many of our own plot devices. The roleplay is character-centered more than it is action-focused. We claim no right to the Destiny Universe, but the characters are entirely of our own design, as is the story revolving around them specifically. >_> This isn't a legal disclaimer, so... Just a heads-up, it likely has some holes. We're [I]not[/I], obviously, trying to rip-off of Bungie's fantastic game. Just had a craving to use the setting for a roleplay. Hooray!
