Unfortunately you are competing for a spot, I don't like to use such measures but if I didn't it'd be first come first served, and I like that system somewhat less.

Even if you don't get accepted though, you'll be put on a list of people who i'll contact when either A: someone drops out or B: I feel I'm able to handle the upkeep for more than 10 players at once.
