If there are other schools back in the US like this place, that info never came to light and even then...well...if I'm going to be going to school, I might as well pick a good one right?" 

It wasn't quite the answer she had expected. Kaori had assumed that he came to Japan to go to school at Yamaku but this apparently wasn't the case. From what he had said it seemed as if he was already in Japan when he lost his arm and then chose to come to Yamaku because he couldn't be bothered to look online for schools back home? Surely it wouldn't have taken more than an hour to compare a few schools. She wanted to learn more about it but, considering how she felt about her own disability, she didn't think Kyle would really want to talk about his own condition.
