Serenity fell to her knees, coughing as smoke filled the air. Her force field had already disappeared.She was still terrified from the previous shot that she was practically helpless. Everything was confusing and she didn't understand what was happening. She tried calling out the attackers powers but she wasn't sure if anything left her voice. A loud scream echoed, was it hers? Her mind was on fire, or was it not? The pain was too much and she slipped into unconsciousness.
