Never done a slice of life RP before. Guess this ought to be my first.
Username: TheMadAsshatter Name: Jacob 'Jake' Taylor Age: 19 Gender: Male Schedule: Goes to bed no earlier than 12 AM. Wakes up no earlier than 12 PM. Generally only goes out on weekends. Education Level: High School dropout. Recently obtained GED. Life Goal: Undecided. Current Goal: Figure out life goal. Appearance: Jacob is a skinny guy standing at about 5' 10" and weighing 150 lbs, though he does have well pronounced muscles. He is in no way a bodybuilder, but one can tell from a glance that he's in shape. He has a lightly tanned skin tone, green eyes, a handsome face, and long brown hair parted down the middle, a-la Sam Winchester. His wardrobe is a masterfully picked collection of clothes, all of which Jacob wouldn't not wear, though that's primarily because most of them are very generic clothes that are hard to go wrong with anyways. It's mostly various types of jeans, t-shirts, v-necks and button-downs, most of which are solid colors, and all of which fit him perfectly. He has exactly one suit, comprised of a black coat, black slacks, black tie, black vest, and a white shirt, all of which have been tailored to fit him right. The only thing that he doesn't have a multitude of is shoes, of which he has one pair of black converse, and one pair of black wingtip dress shoes. One look in his closet will tell you that he has put some effort into ensuring he never dresses poorly. Personality: As a general rule, Jacob is a very friendly, calm, and carefree person with a sort of naturally attractive personality. He is easy to get along with and talk to, and even charismatic in many ways. He's the sort of person who is kind and popular, but not exactly the smartest person ever. He's no idiot, but he often fails to think ahead. Fortunately for him, the above mentioned traits keep him from getting into trouble, even if he normally would have, though there are exceptions to this rule. On certain nights, however, Jacob becomes a party animal, going out of the dorm and coming back at 4 AM absolutely shitfaced hammered drunk. His mood, in this state, will vary between happy, sleepy, or balls-out-crazy-in-an-amusing-way, usually the latter. He is never any less friendly in this state, though he may be more difficult to speak to or hold any meaningful conversation with. It has also been noted by his associates that he has a strange likeness for milk when he is drunk and doesn't want more alcohol. When he is hungover, however, he becomes socially withdrawn and will generally respond to questions with really short, sometimes sarcastic answers. Reason for moving into the dorm: Jacob primarily moved into the dorm to get away from his family, though he generally tells people he just wanted to try living on his own. Romantic/Sexual Experience: Jacob has had plenty of casual sex with plenty of women, some he knew well, and some he met on Craigslist. If it's female, it's attractive, and it likes him back, he'll have sex with it. He has also dated plenty of women, though he is currently staying on the casual sex scene until he figures some things out. Or until he finds the right girl. History: Jacob was born to an average middle class family and lived a pretty normal life. He never really payed attention in school, to the chagrin of his parents. He was always more interested in girls and making friends than school, and it showed in his grades. It didn't really come to a head until High School, when he was forced to repeat 11th grade, and then dropped out afterwards. It was about at this time that his parents started to experience some... drama. After Jacob dropped out, his parents began to argue with each other about what went wrong, and who was more to blame. He always hated the pressure they put on him, and he vocalized it, saying typical rebellious teenager things like "It's my life, not yours." To be fair, his parents did put school ahead of pretty much everything else, and in a big way. He decided to get his GED, and he did manage to get it, which made his parents feel better, but far from great. It was at this point that he developed a slight inferiority complex, though he never lets it show. The pressure of finding a college began to wear him down to the point that he had to leave home. He didn't know or care where he went, he just had to get out of the frying pan. Lucky for him, he didn't have to look far for a place to stay, and he ended up at the dorm.
