Given that you can make loopholes like these in math, is it possible that math is complete bullshit and the smart guys are wrong? If not, is it not true that math is flawed?
There is a difference between 'Incomplete' and 'flawed.' Mathematics is a constantly evolving field. Most people (myself included) don't even come close to understanding the cutting edge, so it's easy for us to forget the nature of the field. In the grand scheme, even the concept of Zero is still new. Was mathematics 'Flawed' before there was zero? Or, were we all wrong for calling Pluto a planet, before it was re-designated? I mean if it isn't a planet now, then it wasn't a planet back then, either, right? So we were all wrong? Math isn't a body of knowledge -- not really. It's a language we use to express facts. Like any language it has some quirks (or should I say 'CWERX'). Someday we'll have a better way of expressing varying infinities, or make sense of imaginary numbers, etc. Generally though mathematics is always sufficient for what we need to do with it.
