@Heat: Oh yeah; forgot to mention that. A ship, with personal rooms for each squad member, and each one of us has our own personal starfighters (probably starships you owned before you became part of the team).

@Schradinger: Think of a setting similar to Star Wars, Mass Effect, or Guardians of the Galaxy. Thousands of different alien lifeforms, hundreds of unique planets, FTL travel, that sort of stuff. I could explain more later.

There's one particular region called 'Deadzone' where no one faction controls it; it is a lawless and merciless region of space, which is where the story will mainly occur. It's core is a spacestation that has been built onto and added on for centuries, so it's sort of like an ever-expanding raggedy space-station, but it's a marvelous and impressive structure (more on that later). Mercenaries usually fight for control of this region.
