Lysander watched Vesper close the blinds and sit down as the Headmaster departed. He chuckled silently to himself: he had killed men, won battles, and conquered empires, but he had never been alone in a room with a woman, let alone in a bedroom. He sighed and laid back on the nearest mattress. The furnishings were mediocre, but lavish compared to the military cots that he was used to on the nights he didn't sleep under the stars. "I'll be fine." Lysander said, looking at Nyx with mild curiosity. "I just have to lay low and work out a contingency plan. None of this is your fault. In fact, thank you. You saved my life back there."
